Start with the space where the art will live
A product image helps you choose a style; your wall helps you choose the size. Before ordering, measure the available area and note nearby furniture, switches, curtains and doors. Write down the width and height in centimetres. Estimating by eye can make a piece that looks balanced in a photograph feel too small or crowded at home.
Available sizes
Our size options are 50 × 70 cm, 60 × 90 cm and 90 × 110 cm. Check the options on the individual product page, the orientation of the design and whether the product is one piece or a set. For a multi-piece product, confirm whether the stated dimensions apply to each piece or to the complete set before ordering.
- 50 × 70 cm: try it on a side wall, above a small unit or as part of an arrangement with other pieces.
- 60 × 90 cm: try it as a single focal point in a medium-sized space, comparing its width with the furniture nearby.
- 90 × 110 cm: allow a wider display area, and check its proportions above your furniture with clear space around it.
These are starting points to try, not guarantees of fit. The room's proportions, the orientation of the artwork and your viewing distance all affect the result.
Choosing art above a sofa
Measure the sofa and the clear wall area above it. Centre the proposed artwork on the sofa, then assess the balance from the doorway and your seating position. If it feels small, try a larger size or a coordinated arrangement. If it crowds the curtains, ceiling or sides of the furniture, try a smaller size with more space around it.
Try a paper template before ordering
- Make a rectangle in the chosen dimensions using paper or wall-safe tape. Test any tape in an inconspicuous place first to avoid damaging the paint.
- Use the same orientation as the product. Do not assume that a portrait design can be displayed in landscape orientation.
- Step back and check it in daylight and evening light. Take a photograph including the furniture to compare different options.
- For a set, mark every piece and the gaps between them. The complete arrangement includes those gaps.
A final check
Review the number of pieces, selected size, material and any frame or hanging equipment included in the product description. Do not assume a frame is included solely because it appears in a styled room image. Contact customer service before ordering if the dimensions need clarification.
